Glow jar

Remember those conversations that you walk away from feeling like you’re glowing so brightly that you’re positive you will keep on glowing even if someone turned the sun off?

I had one of those today.

With the straps of my backpack pressing heavily on my shoulders and my hands cold from winter, I have captured this conversation where my professor’s fingers were forked with a mud brown cigarette in a little jar where I keep things that glow to be pulled out in moments when the sun gets erased from my sky.

What’s in your glow jar?
